To provide an option for local bookworms to choose so they could get their hands on the books they wish to read.

Just a small idea trying to grow. As a reader, I found myself accumulated with books from my reading years and thought, "Oh my?! So many books. Yet nobody to share it with." I gave adapted a 'If I don't read it for more than a year, I clear it out unless it is in my favorite pile altitude. Hence, I have decided to open up "Rent/Buy-A-Book" service.

Hopefully, I will be providing more book options in the future once I get enough capital to get more books here.

♦ Buy-A-Book ♦
1. As soon as I get the request (in-box), full payment is required via bank-in/transfer. (unless customer decided on cash & carry appointment). Customers should include their address and SMS number for contact as well.

2. Once the transaction is received, I would immediately send the book to the customer via speed post.

♦ Rent-A-Book ♦
Before accepting your request, below a few of my policies which binds both the renter and the rentee. Renter here refers to the person who requests to rent a book (you), and the rentee refers to Fenix's Buy/Rent-a-Book.

♣ The payments are just deposits which the rentee will return 75% of the money. Rentee will be just taking 25% of it for the capital to get more books.

1. After rentee had accepted the request, renter will have to pay the full price of the book stated on the blog post. (via bank-in/transfer)

2. Once the transaction is received, rentee will immediately send the book to renter. The renter will have possession of the book for a month starting from the date the rentee inform the renter of the shipping.

3. One week before the one month period is over, the rentee will inform the renter of the due date, The renter will have to send the book back within two weeks from the date of notification.

4. After the book is returned saftely to the rentee, the rentee will return three quarters (75%) of the payment paid. (E.g. If the full price paid before the rental of the book is BND$20, rentee will return BND$15 to the renter. Delivery is not included in this charge)

5. If the renter fail to return the book, it is assumed that renter have full intention to possess the book, therefore it is assumed that renter had bought the book at the time of the payment, thus rentee will have no obligation to return the 75% payment. And renter can keep the book as the ownership shifts to the renter for failure of returning the book.

6. If renter wishes to rent the book longer than a month, please inform Fenix's Buy/Rent-A-Book prior requesting a book. Extension will be granted before shipping of the book to renter. Renter can choose to rent the book for a month or two. BUT! For the two months rental, renter is entitled to 50% payment instead of 75%.

7. If the book came back in the bad condition, the rentee is entitled to to 80% of the cost of the rent, so the renter will only get back 20% of their payment back.

8. Overdue payments?: None.

9. Once the book is shipped, the conditions above bind both the renter and the rentee.

--- ♣ Cash & Carry (Meet up. I mainly suggest this to people living in Kuala Belait district)

--- ♣ Bank-in payment & post if chose delivery by speed post which of course, is paid by the customer. + BND $4.00 for delivery charges that's under 2Kg (in-box for info)

Customers from other district, meet-ups depend on my schedule. but I prefer these areas if I get the chance to:

♣ Tutong: Petani Mall

♣ Brunei-Muara: Giant Hypermart, Rimba

♣ Temburong: Unavailable for Meet-up.

~♣ But I prefer Speed post due to my hectic schedule, but I try my best to meet up at your point of choice but only on the last Sunday of the month ♣~
